The story of Esther has all the ingredients of a Hollywood thriller – a beautiful heroine, a dark-hearted villain, a twisting plot full of danger, and a cliffhanger of a climax. This interesting musical takes place in the wilderness – the wilderness in which the Israelites spent 40 long years. As our story begins we see tents as far as the eye can behold. This three act musical is set in Jerusalem around the main character of Nicodemus. Act one tells of Nicodemus approaching Jesus at night.
